Understanding communications fosters dialogue and empathy. Communicators are expected to generate communications that are accessible for their intended audience. An effective and efficient message is transmitted when the audience’s norms and expectations are met. My encounters within America and Europe have familiarized me with relevant cultural and textual norms. Guiding clients well involves reflecting on these norms and what they represent.
